The top Gadgets for Windows Vista sidebar

Windows Vista Tips

By Mitz

The Windows Vista gadget sidebar is so much fun. I personally love these helpful little widgets that are now incorporated into Windows. Here is a list of my top pics that I now cannot live without.

  1. My favorite gadget has to be The Auction Sidebar tool. It shows you  My Ebay. You can customize the settings to show items you are bidding on or selling. As I sell on Ebay it is fantastic for me. If you mouse over an item, it flipsout with more details as shown in the screenshot below.

  1. Another handy gadget is the drop printing feature. All you have to do is Drag a file to the printer and it will print.

  1. My next favorite is called Magic folder. You customize it and set it to put a particular into a specified folder. For example you can set it to put any picture files with the file extensions .gif .jpeg .bmp etc into the picture folder for you. All you have to do is drag and drop the file onto the magic folder. You can do it with any file you like.

  1. The remote desktop gadget is great for me. Looks great too. Makes it incredibly easy to connect to another computer.
