How to open the System properties box in Windows Vista

If you do not know where the system properties box is in Windows Vista, this article is for you. The system Properties box contains system settings that you can change and customize to your needs. For example you can change the computer name, device manager, remote desktop settings, and more. In fact if you are wondering how big your hard drive is or how much ram you have installed, you should visit the System Properties box.

How to find the System Properties box?

  1. Go to the start menu at the bottom of the screen. See below.
  2. Choose Control panel from the right menu.

  2. Now press on the Advanced system settings link in the left sidebar. This will bring up the true system properties box like the one we used to see in Windows XP.
