| It's really annoying when you get a new operating
system such as Windows Vista, but your old favorite programs are not
compatible or will not work properly. I remember having the same problem
when Windows XP came out, however now you can make most older programs run
in Windows Vista.
You can change settings for a particular program by
using the Program Compatibility Wizard. Older
Programs have now become more compatible with Windows Vista.
Just say you had used
a program successfully in Windows Xp and then your upgraded to Windows
Vista. If the program failed to run correctly you can change the
compatibility options.
Here's how to find a programs compatibility
options:
- Right click on the .exe file for
the program you want to run. A menu will appear.
- Choose Properties from the menu.
- Click on the Compatibility tab.
