Application Software:
Or simply application is a computer program that performs
tasks that the user wishes to perform.
It could be Microsoft word and you might use it to write a letter or Adobe
Photoshop to edit a photo. Depending on the what the
program is meant to do, an application can manipulate text, numbers,
graphics, or a combination of these elements. Some
programs do more than one thing such as Nero Essentials.
