Are you having major problems with your computer. Not
doing what you want and not going to the websites you want to go to. If
persistent spyware is invading your computer then you may need to download
HijackThis.
This free program lists key areas of the registry and
hard drive in a logfile for you or an expert to analyze.
Once you have downloaded and installed HijackThis, all
you have to do is press the scan button to create a logfile that can be
posted in a computer help forum or pasted at a website that analyses the
information for you.
You should not press the fix button unless you know what
you are fixing. It is best to get some advice or a second opinion before
deleting anything.
You can
download HijackThis from
http://www.hijackthis.de/ which is also a site where you can paste your
logfile in and get it analyzed for free.
Notes:
Things like the Alexa
toolbar will show up as nasty in this test.
Sometimes your display
properties may be hijacked!! They do this to try and get you to go to
their website.
