Any suggestions for a free anti virus program

I have had so much trouble with viruses, it is driving me crazy. Can anyone tell me a free anti virus program I can get. I have ZoneAlarm but it is too hard for me. I wan't something easy, that will do everything for me. I do not understand all the settings on Zone alarm, and I don't have the time to find out. Any advice will be appreciated.

you could try AVG or avast either of them will do a basic job for free but you should still be running your firewall
both are availabe for free downloads with updates

I am using AVG myself. I haven't had a virus yet.. and it's free!!
