How can I backup my dvd with the Nero program?

Hi again
I had a video of my wedding put onto dvd disc. However the guy wanted $10 for each extra copy.. So I got the original back and one dvd disc of the wedding. Now I want to give copies to my mum and sister and can't do it.

It is hard to find information on how to do a copy of a dvd because I don't know if it is really legal or not?

Since it is my own wedding dvd I thought it should be ok.

Can anyone give me a few tips about using Nero essentials 7. i thinks its a trial. Someone told me it was easy to copy my dvd disc, and thats why I did not get extra copies.
